Payment, Shipping and Return Policies

Customer acceptance of equipment sold by Arch Consulting Group (hereafter referred to as "ACG") binds both parties to the following terms and conditions:

Payment Type Options: ACG pays cash for items and resells items for cash. Due to the nature of our business, we prefer payment via Cash methods such as Money Orders, Cashier Checks, and Checks. As a convenience to our customers, we may arrange to accept "non-cash" payments including VISA/MC, AMEX and Discover credit cards, fee-based on-line payment services like Paypal for electronic checks and Credit Cards, and Wire Transfers. Such fee-based payment methods may carry processing fees to help offset the cost of offering this convenience to our customers. Please contact us in advance to confirm your method of payment to determine if it will require any additional handling/processing fees.

We will accept Company/Personal Checks for buyers with an established payment history. Short-term NET terms may be offered to Corporate and other established customers based on solid financial references and payment history. Unpaid invoices will be charged 2% per month if unpaid, and if a collection company is employed, the customer agrees to be responsible for payment of all collection/legal fees plus penalties and interest in order to collect the past due amount. Customers who do not pay on time may have their credit privileges revoked.

Shipping Options: ACG will provide you with an accurate estimate of shipping costs and options prior to completing your purchase. Our primary carrier for both ground and express services is FedEx, but for larger and heavier items, we may use a variety of professional freight and common carriers. UPS is not currently a recommended option, nor is USPS other than to Hawaii and Alaska and for some International shipments. You may also use your own preferred carrier if not paying via COD. We may charge a reasonable handling/packing fee to cover expenses associated with shipments when you specify a preferred shipping company.

Quotes: ACG provides accurate phone, written, fax, or e-mail quotes. Quoted and actual price/availability/delivery may vary due to time elapsed between quote and purchase, market supply/demand conditions, inventory status and equipment's internal configuration. All equipment is subject to prior sale until an actual Purchase Order (PO) has been received from the buyer and a corresponding invoice has been sent in response.

Merchandise Condition: We at ACG work hard to offer the best prices and highest quality equipment available. Because we deal primarily with merchandise purchased through non-traditional distribution outlets and due to our below market pricing on virtually all items we sell, all sales are considered final unless one of the following situations arises. On those rare instances where the equipment purchased does not function correctly or is not as advertised, we require that you contact us within 3 business days of receipt. We will make every effort to implement the appropriate method to correct the problem.

Returns, Cancellations, Exchanges and Refunds: If an item arrives not as advertised or defective, we will endeavor to correct the problem. You must contact us within 72 business hours of receiving your item with the symptom or problem of your item. We will then arrange for a technician to help troubleshoot the problem over the phone. If the technician is unable to get the item working or to determine the solution to the problem, we will then proceed with the next line of support depending on the warranty that exists on your item. Many items are under factory warranty and if so, we will assist in making arrangements to have the item repaired by the manufacturer. If an item is NOT under factory warranty, we will determine if the item can be repaired at your location through a 3rd party, or to have it returned to be repaired at our location at our discretion. If the item is determined to be defective and cannot be repaired, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA number) for a refund. In order to qualify for the RMA credit, the item must be returned promptly, sent out within 72 hours of issuance of the RMA number. Returned products must be complete, and in the same condition as originally shipped from ACG or charges will be made against the credit balance owed to the customer. Any return package received without a valid RMA number may be refused or returned without obligation. Once orders are placed and invoiced, they may not be cancelled. All sales are considered final unless the item is not as advertised or defective and not able to be repaired. All items sold with a description or condition of "as/is" carry no warranty and are therefore sold without warranties or guarantees and therefore are not eligible for a return or refund. If a customer cancels an order or refuses a shipment for undo cause, stop-payment of checks for payment of goods/services, and items returned without a valid RMA number or found to be non-defective will incur a 20% restocking fee plus collection expenses if applicable. Once a return item has been received and tested, a credit will be issued to the customer's account. All "special order" or non-inventory items purchased to complete a customer order are non-returnable. Customer is responsible for any freight charges on all returns. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Fitness/Suitability: ACG is ready to assist you in choosing the right solution for your needs. However, the responsibility of compatibility and/or fitness for your particular purpose lies with you the customer, and ACG cannot assume responsibility for items ordered that prove not to be appropriate for your needs.

Packaging: We use professional packaging materials and follow strict guidelines to insure each item is appropriately packaged and protected during shipment. We require insurance on all items for at least the purchase cost. If you would like to provide your own insurance or shipper, we will do so but may require a packaging and handling fee to cover our costs of preparing the merchandise for shipment. COD orders require us to use our own account and are only offered for air shipments. No ground COD shipments are offered at this time. Please be sure to thoroughly inspect your items upon receipt to determine if any damage may have occurred during shipment. In the rare event the item arrives damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify us immediately, no more than 24 hours after receipt so we can take appropriate action with the shipping company. Any refunds or adjustments due because of damage caused by the shipping company will be refunded upon receipt of the damage settlement from the shipping company.
